What we collect when you use this site or send an enquiry, why we collect it, and how to have it removed.
Who we are

What we collect
We collect two kinds of information.
- Information you send us. When you submit a quotation request or email us, we receive the company name, contact name, email address, phone number, country, the part numbers you ask about and anything else you choose to include. We use it only to answer your enquiry and to prepare the quotation.
- Information collected automatically. Standard web server logs record the page requested, the referring page, an approximate location derived from the IP address, the browser type and the time. We use this in aggregate to understand which pages are useful.
Cookies and analytics
This site does not set advertising or tracking cookies. If we add website analytics, it will be configured to aggregate data without cross-site tracking, and this notice will be updated before it goes live. Where analytics that require consent are introduced, a consent banner will appear first and nothing will load before you accept.
Why we are allowed to hold it
We process enquiry data because it is necessary to take steps at your request before entering a contract, and because we have a legitimate interest in answering business enquiries. We do not sell data, and we do not share it with anyone outside the parties needed to fulfil your order — the freight forwarder, the carrier, the inspection body and, where required, customs authorities.
How long we keep it
Enquiry data is kept for as long as the commercial relationship is active, and for the retention period required by accounting and export regulations afterwards — normally six years from the end of the financial year in which the transaction took place. Enquiries that do not lead to an order are kept for up to two years and then deleted.
Your rights
You can ask us for a copy of the data we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it where we are not required to keep it. Write to sales@maxdur.com and we will respond within 30 days. If you are in a jurisdiction with a data protection authority, you also have the right to complain to it.
Security
This site is served over HTTPS. Enquiry forms are transmitted over an encrypted connection. Access to enquiry data is limited to the people who prepare quotations and process orders. We do not store payment card details; payments are made by bank transfer or letter of credit between companies.
Changes
If this notice changes materially, the date at the top of the page changes with it. We do not apply retroactive changes to how previously collected data is handled.
